If you want to monitor the temperature in every room of your house without running wires, this is the perfect solution. This small board acts as a “motherboard” for the tiny ESP-01 or ESP-01S Wi-Fi module. You simply plug your ESP-01 into the yellow header, and it automatically connects to the onboard blue DHT11 sensor. The board handles all the necessary wiring and pull-up resistors, routing the sensor data to the ESP-01’s GPIO pin (usually GPIO2). It is the standard hardware used for DIY “Home Assistant” sensor nodes.
